Delete your account
Last updated: August 2026. PRISMA is operated by PRISMA ASTRO INC.. You can delete your PRISMA account yourself, at any time, without asking us. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
How to delete it
- Sign in to PRISMA, in the app or at prism.garden.
- Go to Dashboard → Edit profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete my account, then confirm.
You do not need the app installed — the same control is on the website. If you cannot sign in, write to privacy@prisma.app from the email address on the account and we will delete it for you.
Take a copy first
On the same screen, above the delete control, there is Download my data. It gives you one file holding your account, your birth details, everything you wrote, your readings and the messages you sent. Deletion cannot be undone, so it is worth a few seconds first.
What is deleted
Your account and sign-in credentials. Your profile, including your birth data, photos, written prompts, interests and every reading generated from them. The face pattern from identity verification, along with its consent record. Your connections and pending requests. Your Compass groups and the placeholder people you added to them. Invitations you sent, because each one holds somebody else's email address.
Your one-to-one conversations are deleted for both people — not just hidden from you. In group conversations, your messages are removed and you are taken off the roster, so the group survives for the people still in it. A group left with nobody in it is deleted outright.
What we keep, and why
If you reported someone, or someone reported you, that safety record is kept after your account is gone. It holds the accounts involved and a copy of the reported message. We keep it because deleting an account is otherwise a way to erase evidence of harassment, and because we tell members we act on every report. It is never used for anything else.
We also keep product feedback you submitted — the account it was attached to no longer exists, so there is nothing left in it to reach you by — and ordinary server records where the law requires it.
How long it takes
The deletion runs when you confirm it — there is no waiting period and no grace window in which the account can be recovered. Routine database backups may hold copies for a short period afterwards before they are overwritten in the normal cycle.
